Thanks for writing in. If the worm gear has fallen out of the operator, I'm afraid that means that the entire operator has worn down and will need to be replaced. Fortunately, we can help you do this; but we will need to see the entire operator removed from the window, with link arm(s) in full view. For new handles and covers, see our 39-107 and 39-205.
