Spline for Pet Screen

A quick learner from Huntington Beach, CA says:
I am replacing my sliding screen door screen with thicker 'pet screen'. I am unable to use the .125" rubber spline sold at hardware stores because I cannot press the spline and screen into the channel. Will your .120" foam spline work for this application? What do you recommend? Thanks!

Paul from SWISCO responded:
Was the original spline size .125? It's hard to say if the .120 spline will work to substitute it. It's possible, since it expands and forms to the frame once installed, but I can't be sure.
