Spline size

How do I determine the size of spline that I might need for my deck screen??????????? It has been replaced previous and I'm not sure if they used the proper sizing. Thanks for your help. Derm

If you don't have the old spline handy, or if you don't trust the spline that's in there now, then measure the width of the screen spline opening in the frame. That's pretty much the only option left.
