Split arm operator left hand

Question

When I cranked the window shut, the plastic cover cracked. Upon further inspection, the crank worm no longer remains in the housing but keeps pressing against the cover upon closure. Can this be fixed or does the unit need to be replaced.

Thanks for posting! I'm afraid this cannot be fixed. If the worm gear has come out then you need to replace the entire operator.
