Split arm operator replacement

A quick learner from Philadelphia, PA says:

5-6 years ago the right side of my casement window needed an operator replacement, and the kind ppl here were able to help me identify which part I should get to replace it.

It worked great and still does. However, now the LEFT side of my casement window needs the same procedure, but the replacement part I got from this website is no longer available. That part number was 39-415.

Can you recommend a replacement operator for part 39-415 (LEFT WINDOW WHEN LOOKING THROUGH THE WINDOW FROM THE INSIDE OF THE HOUSE). I tried part No# 39-318, but the metal part of the operator that needs to pass through the window frame is too wide for the current gap (other picture).Thank you for your help

Hello! This appears to be the old GU operator. This hasn't been made in many years, but we have an alternative retrofit that you can try. We have a lot of success with it and I think you will, too.

The video below will go through the process step by step. I'm also happy to answer any questions you may have.
