Looks like a spiral balance but I have no experience with these.

Hello, thank you for reaching out. I think we can help with this, but we'll need a little more information. If you can get us diameter and length of the gray balance tube, any numbers stamped on it and the length of the spiral, we should be able to take it from there.

Were you able to find any stamp on the tube? If not, may we have the exact weight of the sash? These balances are calibrated to a very precise sash weight, so we will need you to be as exact as physically possible. Usually the stamp just tells us what you need.
