Hi,
I am looking for replacement spring balance for MI Vinyl Window 1355 series. The printed info on the spring is #10.0 35". The spring broke. I am interested to know if there is any better quality / more durable replacement for this.

They don't really make special, more durable versions of coil springs, unfortunately. Most manufacturers pretty much make them one way. All balance springs are typically designed to work for 10-15 years, though. If yours failed before that, then it's not a matter of durability. That means something's wrong.
Either way, we don't have this exact balance setup. We do sell the 15-251, which is a single spring housing designed to work with the Series 160. Look these two products over to see if you could use them to replace your old hardware.
