Glad I found this site, this is something that's been bothering me since we moved into this house. I've got a Feldco window in this room, there is a metal T peg in the base of the window that fits into this connector which is attached to the spring. On one side, the bottom of the connector is broken off so the window is only supported by the spring in the other side. This means it slowly slides down when open. The attached photos show the broken piece, the other piece which is as it should be, the T peg, and some measurements. I don't know what this connector is called, but if I could buy a new one it would make my day!
Thanks,
Scott

Hey Scott. We can definitely help. This piece is called a pivot shoe, named as such because it's the block from which the window pivots. It also connects to the Coil Balances in your window track, the tensioned springs that regulate the window's opening and closing. This pivot shoe is an older version of our 15-180. The video below shows how to remove and replace a similar type of Coil Balance system. Follow these steps so you can swap out the broken shoe. Let me know if you have further questions.

UPDATE: the replacement part arrived and I've just finished installing it. Operational window once again! Thanks!
