Hello,
I have two bedroom windows that won't remain open. I believe the spring mechanism is broken on both. There are no names, numbers, or markings on the piece. It was enclosed in a plastic sleeve. The attached photo shows the spring outside the sleeve. It's just over 29" in length.
The windows are more than 20 years old. I don't know the manufacturer.
Can you advise?

Hi, and thanks for posting. Could you confirm that the tube is 29"? We only count the tube for length, not the spring. Just want to be sure!

Hey. Thanks for the reply.
Just measured it -- the tube alone is 28".

Okay the tube is 28". Now if the tube is 3/8" diameter, go with Series 900-28". If it is 5/8", go with Series 600-28". Please note our tubes are metal not plastic. You will also need the color of the nylon bearing when ordering. Review the media guides alongside this post for more information.
