Spring problem

Home Owner from 30044
My home is 34 years old and the windows are the original. Looks like plastic/vinyl on the Jamb. This is just one of my windows that I am sending the pix on. A few others have issues as well, but I need to find out what I have to know how to fix it. This window in the pix the window goes up on its own a few inches when unlocked. A couple of others the top drops down when unlocked. In picture 1, looking at the top, the spring I believe is behind that medal piece. In pictures 2 and 4, you can see the plastic clip at the bottom. There is a small slit in the tube shaped plastic that accesses the spring/mechanism.
Let me know if there are parts for these windows. If so, I'll see which ones need the parts and I'll note the size of the windows. Thanks!

Thanks for writing in! We do not sell the jamb liner springs you are searching for to repair your windows, unfortunately. Since this is a wood window, you'll need to contact a local millwork, that still makes wood windows, to see if they can get you set up with replacements.

I'm sorry that we could not be of help with this part of the repair.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any other hardware repair projects you may have.
