Spring replacement assistance

A quick learner from Carlsbad California says:
Can please help with the 2 spring replacement parts needed. Also how do I remove/replace the spring covers that sit inside the sash groove? Thanks!

Will gladly share images. Thanks again.

It sounds like you're referring to a type of balance system. Can you show us pictures of the hardware in question, even if it's still in the window? I'll know better how to proceed from there.

Hello! This is a coil balance system. Yours in particular looks like a match for our Certainteed setup. The parts that you should consider are our 15-192 shoe, Series 170 and Series 171 springs, and finally the 15-156 cover and 15-157 bearing. The video below will show you how all these parts work together.

We don't have a video on how to replace this particular setup, but we do have a video for one that follows the same principles, more or less. I'll share that, too.
