Spring top guide for bifold closet door

Handy Person from WV

This part was for bifold doors installed in 1991

I believe the diameter is 1/2".

Hello,

We'd be happy to look into this for you, but we'll need a bit more information to narrow down your options. If you could show us how the pin attaches to the top track and installs in the door frame, we can go from there. Thank you!

It 3" of metal that sits on top of the spring goes up through a hole in this metal bracket that is inside of the track. It doesn't actually attach to anything. Hope this makes sense. I tried to take a picture of the door that is hanging already but it is very hard to see.

The metal piece that sticks out above the plastic portion containing the spring doesn't actually attach to anything.  It goes through a hole that is in the metal bracket attached to the track above the doors.  Since the metal piece is a little longer the bracket with the hole keeps it in place. Hope this makes sense.

The spring-loaded top pin you are showing resembles our 23-115, which fits into a top pivot bracket like the 23-269. Review the specifications below to see if they match your original hardware.
