Spring uncoiled out of casing - need both parts

Home Owner from Cumberland, Maine
We have Gorrell windows purchased in 2006. One of the window springs uncoiled out of the casing. I believe I need to replace both the spring and the casing. I want to be sure I get the correct parts. To me, the stamp on the spring looks like 6GB but I don't know if that makes any sense or what the replacement part would be. Thank you.

Your old pivot housing looks like our 15-087, which was designed to be used with the Series 180 spring. Look these two parts over and let me know if you agree.

Thank you!

Do you think the 6GB stamped on my coil means 6 lbs?

Yes, I believe that 6 is the key digit and indicates that this spring supports 6 pounds, individually.
