My window channel is 1inch wide but broken spring is 1/2 inch wide. The window is heavier than I can lift and cannot see any numbers or Kettering on spring. I want to have the replacement parts ready when I hire someone to install. The smaller window is 22" wide and 23" tall. It is dual pane. The big window is 33" wide and 28" tall., Also dual pane. This whole spring assembly fell out so I can measure it.
1. Is there a difference in the width of the springs?
2. And how do I figure out the weigh to select the correct option.

Hello,
We'd be happy to help but I'm not sure what replacement parts you need based on your description. My best guess is that you need a type of channel balance, but we would need to see an undamaged version of the part that you need uninstalled to narrow down your options. Thank you.
