Springs came off of my Screen Door wheels

Question

I have a screen door with the same style wheel rollers as model 84-096. The spring part of it is disconnected from the wheel section, is this spring supposed to be permentally connected to the wheel section? Or does it hook on to the wheel section?

Thanks for posting, Dan! As far as I can tell, these springs are not meant to detach. If yours has broken off, you will likely have to replace the whole roller.
