Springs for a Blomberg 3x6 window with non tilting sliding window. The number on the part is 21-5 JN5 CMC.

Question

I have attempted to attach photographs of the spring unit which I have removed from the window. These windows were installed in our home in 1988. I had previously purchased some replacement springs directly from the manufacture, but they no longer stock them. They advise that I could go online and locate them I believe That if I can get the right one from you, everything will be fine.

The metal portion of the spring unit measures 22 inches and the width of the channel brace is 1/2 inch.

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380 or S385 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment.

You will need a 22" balance with a 2150 stamp option. Please review and let us know if you have any additional questions.
