Hello I am looking to replace the spring mechanism on the sides of the windows

Hi there!

It sounds like you might need new coil balances. If that's the case, we'll need to see an undamaged pivot shoe removed from the window to compare to our inventory. If we can identify the pivot shoe, that will tell us the coils and accessories that you'll need.

Hello, Thanks for your response! I am guessing this is what you call the pivot shoe. If not the other piece that is at my friend's house ( his window that I am helping him with) and I can get a photo of the metal clip that attaches to the window frame. Let me know.

Yes, this is exactly the part I was referring to! Take a look at our 15-087 pivot shoe, which uses the Series 180 coil balances and compare our dimensions to yours to see if this matches what you need.

Yes the pivot shoe is it. Importantly the springs on both sides are broken. Does the pivot shoe come with the coil already on the inside of the shoe?

No, the Series 180 coil springs are sold separately.
