Springs only for my balances?

We do not sell balance springs by themselves, nor will any other hardware store. It is not recommended to attempt to replace the springs in any way. These are very precisely calibrated at the factory and are under constant tension, usually around 20-30 pounds worth. One slip up and those 30 pounds are going to literally spring back at you with a sharp metal point. I've personally witnessed people get seriously injured attempting this.

No company in the industry wants to touch that kind of liability, so you won't find replacement balance springs anywhere. In all cases where the spring needs to be replaced, you need to purchase an all new balance. There is no other way and even if there was, it wouldn't be worth trying.
