Hello, thank you for posting,

Unfortunately the number on the metal channel does not indicate the Series of balance needed, only the spring strength to support the sash. To further review, we will need to see pictures of the original balance to view the overall style. Thank you!

Hope this works. The balance is 29" L x .5" H x .5 " W

Thank you for the additional pictures,

Your balance resembles the Series 770 channel balance. When measuring the length, are you only measuring the metal channel? Based on the 28C stamp, the length should be 28" long. Please confirm!

That's what I thought too. I'll verify the length later today.

You are correct. It is 28 inches long.

Thank you so much! I will be ordering at least 6 of them but first, I need to check the Pivot shoes in case I need those as well.

I assume I can come back to this thread to place my order?
