Stamp 32B and shoe measure

A home owner from California says:
Single hung window. 9/16 wide

My old balance is stamped 32B what weight option do I choose. Also, how do you accurately measure the shoe, I'm looking at either the 15-005 and 15-004. Is the measurement taken from all the outisde edges? Thank you for your help.

You're right, it's definitely either the 15-005 or 15-004. The measurement you want is the depth. This is basically the "heel to toe" measurement, if you look at this piece as a shoe. You can see the difference in the diagram below.

Based on your 32B stamp, you should go with our 3220 option. Let us know if you have any more questions of concerns.

Sure! A stamp of 32B usually corresponds to our 3220 option, but you can always weigh your sash to confirm.
