Stamp on the Balance Channel

S795-27 with stamp option 27D will carry a window sash weight range of 22 through 26 pounds.

Check the width of the shoe on your current balance, the balance shoe of the Series 795 measures 1-1/4" wide. If you are unsure of the balance series you selected, please feel free to reply with detailed photos for us to confirm the proper replacement balance series.

This information is based on 2 balances per sash. Balances are designed assuming friction in the jamb weather-strip will carry a portion of the sash weight. Suggested sash weights are approximate.

I believe, I have a S-795 channel balance (looks same as the pic), length 27" metal end to metal end. The stamp on the sample balance is 26-7 BSIN. Is this the correct Balance for me? The weight of the window sash is 24.4 lbs, Window is made by Silver Line series 2900 Thank you.
