Stanlet Dial Closet Roller

Quick Learner from Catasauqua,PA

Hi ,I am looking to replace a Stanley Dial closet Roller. I recently tried one from National Hardware (V-795) but it didn't work . The wheel is to close to the track.

The ones I am trying to replace have a .125 shoulder. Wheel diameter is.84 .Offset is 7/16. I have attached photos.

Both doors had the 7/16 offset dial plates because there is a valance on the front of the opening and there is only 1/2" space so going to an 1/8" for the front would not work ??? Does that make sense???

The V groove of the track is 1-3/4" point to point. Doors are 1-3/8" thick

Thanks for reaching out! Your closet door roller resembles our 23-025 dial hanger. Look over the dimensions and compare them to your existing roller. Like yours, this roller has a 7/16" offset.

I ordered a set of the 23-025 that were a suggested replacement and they did not work. A side profile picture would have been helpful as the agent I spoke with was not understanding my description even with the photos i provided. The problem is the roller on the new piece is to close to the bracket and binds on the track.

I did take a look at some other rollers we carry on the web site, but could not find a roller like yours with the dial bracket and a wheel with an 1/8" offset.

Take a look at the 10-101 shower door wheel. There is a possibility that you might be able to replace your wheel and reuse the same bracket. Do you think that could work?

Although, I have to advise, it might be best to replace the complete track with something like the 23-500. Take a look at the suggested parts and related video.
