Storm Door Closure

Question

Hi --- am trying to find a storm door closure that will fit with the existing brackets that remain. I live in a Lustron home, and the door is original --- because of the historic nature of the home, I do not want to add any holes, thus needing to work with existing brackets. There is a 13inch span between the centers of the holes, and the door does swing out. Was looking at part 40-079 ---- do you think it will work?

I'm afraid I cannot determine what you have from these photos. If this is an old door, you may not be able to find anything that matches exactly. It's possible the holes of our 40-079 match up to yours, but I cannot confirm. I can tell you that most of our closers are designed to work for a bunch of different brands of doors, which usually means that new holes have to be drilled in each case. I'm sorry that we cannot give you confirmation.
