Storm door handle replacement

Question

I had already taken this off the door before posting.....I can't seem to find a replacement inside handle or a replacement set for the width of the door....1.5" thick. The mew sets of other brands do not accommodate the thickness of the door and are not of this quality. The spindles are not interchangeable to accommodate longer lengths ... any suggestions. This handle set is no longer made, but you may be able to use our 40-058 as a replacement. Look it over and see what you think.
