A sticker on the door says Cole Sewell Solid Saver registration Number SS 784521. I can open the door from the inside, but from the outside. The latch does not retract enough for me to open the door.

I'm afraid Cole Sewell is no longer is business, but take a look at our 40-057. Review our dimensions and compare them to yours to see if this matches up to your original handle.
