Storm door hinge repair kit

Question

I have an emco storm door #0013696050.
I ordered #40-165 repair kit but the "pins" are
5/16" and what I need are 1/4".
Do you have any suggestions?
I could try drilling out the hinges to 5/16" but that will weaken the aluminum.

Unfortunately, we do not carry another hinge repair kit in the size that you need. The only other storm door hinge option that we carry would be the 40-153 Larson hinge, but I can't guarantee that this will work for your application. The ends have a diameter of 17/64", which is closer to the size that you're looking for. Take a look and see what you think. Thanks for posting!
