Storm door hinge replaecment

A quick learner from Pennsylvania says:

In search of a storm door hinge replacement. I believe Metal Industry Inc. is the manufacturer. It has a metal rod that goes thru all three hinges. Do you have replacement hinge or can I modify by using a different hinge with the pin and spring and eliminate the rod?

We don't carry this hinge, but our 40-153 is similar. Do you think you could use this as a substitute?
