Storm door inside latch broken

50 year old storm door latch broken. Will not lock. Not sure if I need the outside handle replaced with it or not.

This old storm door handle set isn't made anymore, but our 40-177 can be used to replace it with little to no alterations. Review its dimensions below and see what you think.
