Storm door latch

Question

Looking for this latch it's 2" long and the mounting holes are 1 3/4" apart. It holds the storm door glass in the upper position. Can't find it, or anything similar anywhere.

Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to say that I've never seen this, either. Most storm door clips are way, way more rudimentary. Literally just a clip with a screw, or on more modern doors, a long strip that snaps into the frame. I've never seen something so complex as to have a lever action.

Suffice to say we don't sell this either. I may be able to offer some alternatives for you, but before I do that I think it would be safer to see what this latch looks like while installed on the door. That would give me a better idea of how it functions. Given its odd design I don't want to assume it works like how I guess it might.

Otherwise, you would be better served contacting the original maker of the door to see if they carry this exact latch.
