Storm door latch broken

A home owner from Seminole Florida says:

The latch will not work with the handle any longer as the metal mechanism the spring is attached to is broken so the handle will not open the door any longer. I included photos with the measurements.
We recently purchased this home and there is no name on the door or handle parts. It is much smaller than the parts available at lowes Home Depot and ace hardware. Please advise if you have replacement parts or even the whole handle piece if necessary door is in great shape and really don't want to replace it

Your mortise lock reminds me of our 40-211 mortise lever set but you'll want to look over the dimensions and compare them with your old hardware to see if this matches what you need. I'm afraid we don't sell the 40-211's mortise by itself though. I apologize for any inconvenience.
