Storm window latches

Question

Hi,

I'm looking to replace the broken latches on my storm windows and I think 91-054 is a near perfect fit, but some of the measurement are slightly off. Is 91-054 based off of an industry standard? Could the slight mismatch be possibly due to my old latch rubbing off and becoming slightly smaller over the past few decades it's been in use? How exact do the pieces have to match?

Thanks for reaching out to us! I'm afraid there is no "industry standard". The important dimensions to focus on are thickness and height. The design of the tip is also an important detail. Our 91-054 latch pair are definitely the closest and best option we have in our inventory though. Our return policy can be found here just in case.
