Strike plate for sliding patio door

A home owner from San Francisco, CA says:

Hi,

I just moved into a house and the patio door does not lock because it's missing a strike plate.

Based on the logo, it's a Milgard patio lock. The door frame has 2 openings that are too large to engage the lock hooks.

Would appreciate your help to identify the necessary part.

Thanks,

Cary

Hi Cary, thank you for posting,

It appears you have an older style of the 82-080 handle set. Please start by reviewing the 89-030 or the 89-042 strike plates for a possible replacement. Let us know if you have any additional questions!

I ordered 89-030 and it fits perfectly.
Thanks for your help!
