Stripped base plate

I have what I think is a Swisco mortise door handle, and the base plate that goes on the inside of the door and "clamps" the inside and outside pieces together has stripped such that the screws that go through the door go right through it. Ideally I would like to replace just that plate. Can you identify the replacement part?

Thank you for reaching out to us. The hardware shown here isn't ours, I'm afraid. We have the 82-108 mounting plate but we've had reports that this doesn't work with the old style of handle you have. It's designed to be compatible with the 82-081 handle set which is a newer style compared to yours. Take a look at the specifications and see what you think.

I have exactly the same one as shown in the picture by the user in Vancover. it says made in new zealand. the small cylinder like thing that is usually attached to the mounting plate is broken. Can you please let me know the width of this plate? I am hoping it would work but not sure.

The width of the 82-108 is 15/16" as shown below. However, customers have reported that this mounting plate isn't compatible with the old-style handle set shown in this thread, unfortunately.
