Stripped base plate on handle 2265, US Patent 5125703 D340,398 Sash Controls Ferndale MI

Home Owner from 98862, Winthrop, WA, USA

(first, thanks for having an awesome partfinder) I have this door handle set that I cannot tighten because one of the 2 bolts holding them together is stripped out. It's not the bolt itself, that seems fine. It seems to be the hole that the silver part sits in.

The white baseplate/hole has small channels in it that the sivler metal end bit (img_3777) sits inside and "grabs". The silver part is fine, it's the small grooves in the baseplat. The photo (3776) with scratched-up bolt will not catch within the female end because the small female channels that the flanges on the insert that the bolt threads into are stripped.

I believe I probably need to replace the entire white baseplate here....or re-order an entire handle set. Please advise. THANKS!

Hi there!

We can help with this. It appears your old handle's thumb lever is in an offset position. I recommend the 82-086 with that in mind. Review the specifications for this part and let us know if you have any questions.
