Stripped crank window won't close all the way

Thanks for writing in! Since the the worm gear has been completely stripped and detached, you'll need to replacement the entire crank operator. There is a good chance we can supply you with the replacement you need, but I'll need to see a photo of the entire operator to identify the correct one.

I'll need to see a photo of the base of the operator with the cover removed, if possible, as well as a photo of the arm(s) and how the operator connects to the bottom of the swinging sash.

You may need to obtain these photos from a similar, undamaged operator if you cannot open the window.
