Stuck channel balances

Hello there. I'm assuming the Top Sash Guides, the nylon blocks in the upper corners of the window sash, broke--when this happens, the channel balances shoot past the sash and lodge themselves in the upper corners of the window tracks. You'll need to use a slotted screwdriver to carefully push the top of the balance downward and underneath the take-out clip on the window track. The video below details this process. From there you'll be able to remove the sash and then show us anything that needs replacing--i.e. the top sash guides or balances. Let me know if this helps, or if you need further guidance.
