1. Best guess is this is Q-LON QWS-440 (possibly QWS-530) pocket seal
2. I believe this from a circa 2005 Summit patio door, but I am not 100% sure
3. This fits in a pocket (NOT kerf) around the perimeter of the sliding portion of the door
4. There is very little room between the door and what the weather seal slides against so amount that extends beyond the pocket must be pretty small
3. This has to slide so this vinyl coated foam works and rubber or anything sticky will not
4. This type of weather seal does not appear to be manufactured anymore though there are references to it - just no stock
5. This stuff seems a bit more common in the U.K., but no stock there either
6. I need something like 40 feet, but could use shorter pieces for each side
Substitute for patio door weather seal that is unobtainium...
