Sunair 2740 AF BSI Window Balance Issue

Question

Hello
I need to fix hard to open/close Sunair window 28" channel number 2740 AF BSI. Please see pics and advice on various components.
For some the string is broken, do i need to buy the whole channel or should I replace the string inside the channel?
