Superior Window Parts Needed

A home owner from Whittier, CA says:
I am really not sure what I need but I have this window in the bathroom and the metal guide that connects the bottom of the window to the frame during open and closing motions has rusted out. I need parts to repair. I included a picture of the other side that is in better shape. Please let me know of this is your window and/or if you can help. Thank you!

That rod is called a spiral balance. It's a spring-loaded mechanism that regulates the opening and closing of the window. I am confident we can replace this, but we need to see the spiral balance out to identify the exact one you need. Specifically, we need the length and diameter of the spiral balance's outer tube (the diameter should be either 3/8" or 5/8"), up to but not included the colored tip. We also need a picture of that colored tip from which the spiral rod itself protrudes from. If that tip has no color, give us the exact weight of the window sash, and we'll tell you what color tip you'll need for the replacement.

That spiral balance connects to a pivot shoe, that plastic block with the metal cam. if you need to replace the pivot shoe as well, we'll need the width and thickness of the shoe as measured from having it out of the window.
