Surface mounted latch for tilt window

A quick learner says:

Surface mounted latch for tilt window:

My windows are white metal and quite large. The latches are all replacements I believe, witness the contrasting color.

Some are slightly too large I think. They have even drilled a second hole to retrofit a latch . Any advice how I can identify the correct latch to order replacements?

Distance 2 1/2 " Center to center of two screw holes in one latch.

The latch that you have pictured here looks like our 26-176. You can get it in white. If you think that this may be an ill-fitting replacement and that the original screw hole placement was 2-1/2", you might want to look at our Neutral Top Tilt latch, 26-215.
