Swisco 40-028 handle set

Question

I ordered a swisco 40-028 door hardware set for a 1 inch thick in-swinging porch door. I cant figure out how the spring latch interfaces with the parts I received. There doesnt appear to be a plunger included.

The 40-028 handle set comes with a spindle similar to our 40-187L, but 3-1/16" long. This spindle fits into the both the outside and inside handles to allow the lock to operate.
