Swisco Door Rollers

Handy Person from Harvard, TX

I have two Swissco doors built in 1971.

One of the doors has a part number Swissco SGD-R20.

There is a date code decal that reads:

GAC

2-71

The house was built in 1971

I need the following parts or part #s:

  1. Two bottom rollers - see photos
  2. Four nylon/plastic wear buttons - see photos
  3. One striker or latch plate - see photos
  4. A rubber plug for latch adjustment hole about 3/8" - no photo

I have about 4 more photos. Let me know if you need them.

Thanks,

Dan

Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to say that our company never made doors of any kind. I think you may have us confused with a different company; we're only a third party supplier of replacement parts.

That said, we do sell a wide variety of different door rollers, so there's a good chance that we have what you need. However I'll need additional photos in each case. I'll go through them in order.

  1. Starting with the roller, I'll need to see this removed from the frame entirely and as one complete assembly. I specifically need to see back end, top, and sides. Detailed written dimensions would also be helpful.
  2. The nylon buttons are unfortunately not something that we sell, but a local hardware store may carry something that you can use on this door.
  3. We sell a wide variety of strikers, but this style isn't one I'm familiar with. Would it be possible to see the mortise lock that interacts with it?
  4. Lastly, I'm not sure what kind of rubber plug you might need to help adjust a latch. I would have to see a photo of the part in question, for both the plug and latch.

Please let me know if you can get that information for me and we will do our best to work from there!
