I would be grateful if you could provide advice for purchasing Swisco replacement window parts for my 18-year-old Simonton Dimension 1 model single hung windows.
Windows all the same size - 35" x 59" single hung tilt out vinyl windows. 11 of this style require replacement parts.
Sun damaged the plastic parts connected to the spring coil balance and released the springs on some of the windows.
I believe parts needed are 2 new spring coil balances for each window and 2 plastic coil spring covers if they do not come with the coil spring balances. Each coil spring balance appears to have 2 small coil springs inside the plastic cover.
Not sure if the pivots that hold one end of the spring are part of the spring balance unit or need to be purchased separately? Will also need 2 each for 11 windows.
4 windows need tilt out plastic spring latches damaged from sun exposure damage. 4 Left and 4 Right side latches are required.
Pictures of the sun damaged parts are below. Also a poor picture of the window barcode label. Unable to remove without label destruction. I was able to capture all the numbers from the window barcode label shown below.
