T-Lock Balance Rectangular Hole Size Different

Quick Learner
Hello! I just received part # 15-195B. I thought it was the correct replacement for what I have. However, I received the parts today and it appears the rectangular cut-out in the metal part (hole for the pivot bars) is smaller than the hole in the T-Locks I'm replacing.

Is there another part that would fit better? Everything else pretty much measured correctly.

I do think I might be able to just remove the metal piece and install the one I have. It's partially worn but still works as far as I know.

Hello,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your new T-lock shoes. It sounds like you have the older style version of this shoe, which, unfortunately, is no longer available. If the cam opening size is the only difference, you could try installing it if you haven't already. If the pivot bar fits inside the new can, you won't need to swap the cams.

If the pivot bar doesn't fit, you can remove the cam from the 15-195B by using a slotted screwdriver to carefully pry out the white break on the back. Then, you can push out the metal cam but make sure that the cam opening faces down. You should be able to reverse the process to install the old cam in your new shoes as long as the overall size is the same. Give it a try and let us know how you make out. Thank you!
