We sell a ton of Truth brand parts, so I'm confident we can supply you with a replacement that will repair this window. However I can't get a good look at the operator from these photos. Would it be possible to see it removed? Seeing the complete operator in one photo would be ideal. Please let me know if that's possible and we can work from there.

In the meantime, you can see our full selection here.

Hello,

I have another photo that i have attached.  Im not sure if it was sent a few minutes ago in a seperate reply.  Im hoping you can identify the part based off this photo of the mechanism fully extended.  I also took measurements of all arms and counted how many joints made from all of the arms involved in which you can only see a couple in this photo.  There are more arms connected under the window pane itself.  Thanks

I'm afraid I still don't know what you have. There's just too much hidden by the window frame. As mentioned in my previous post, seeing it removed will ensure that we can review all details without obfuscation. Is that possible?

Yes I will have to go out there and take one off and then take a photo of it is that what you're wanting correct? By the way I did take the measurements of all of the arms even the ones that you cannot see FYI

Yes, a photo of the part removed is precisely what we need. I'm happy to help whenever you can show me that.

Hello last night I was able to go out to the location and try to get the arm that has truth stamped on it completely removed and I could not get it out of the window track underneath the bottom of the window you will see in the photos that it's loose and I think that these photos are a lot better than the other ones I've sent but this is becoming ridiculous and I don't know if there's a trick of popping that out of underneath the track so that the arm can completely come out but you will see it in the photos okay please advise and let me know thanks

I'm sorry to say that I can't make out how this operator is meant to come out, either. In almost 90% of cases, it slides out from the track at the end. In the other cases, it snaps into a stud bracket, which means it can just be popped out.

Unfortunately, I can't see enough to tell you which style you have, but I can at least see enough now to narrow down the list of possibilities. There are three pairs that you can consider:

  • 39-460 and 39-461, which use a black plastic slider. This needs to be slid out of the track from the end.
  • 39-457 and 39-458, which use a small metal wheel. This needs to be slid out of the track from the end, as well.
  • 39-449 and 39-450, which uses a peg that snaps into a slider in the track. The peg can be popped off, or the slider can be slid out of the track from the end as normal.

Of course, there is always the possibility that you have a fourth style that I am not aware of that works differently from the above, but if you did then it's not something I can advise on, as we don't sell it. You'll need to find a way to get the old one off so that you know exactly what style you need.

Across all three styles, you'll also need a new cover kit in each case, since the way these are made now the covers are only sold separately. See our 39-451 and 39-452, which are compatible with all three pairs mentioned.
