Tail Ends - Break Off

Quick Learner from OK
I purchased this to replace the handle I had because the lock broke. I'm having a hard time figuring out where to break the tail end pieces off (Step 4). Is it best to just break them off one by one on each piece where the marks are until I get the correct lengths for both?

Thanks for posting! Yes, you are correct, it's best to do this one by one so that if you do need to make any modifications, you can shave it down just a bit more.

Take a look at the video below for the 82-310 key lock. We give detailed instructions on how to install this key lock to the door handles.

I hope this helps!
