CAN THE ROLLERS ON THE 81-182 BE ADJUSTED VERTICALLY ,IF SO WHAT IS THE AMOUNT OF MOVEMENT ?

Yes, this part can be adjusted. With the wheels retracted into the housing, the bottom of the wheels stick out 3/8". When adjusted vertically you can make up 1/4" on the height.
