To start, I'll need to see a photo of the pivot shoe removed from the window channel. There is a chance that this can still be connect to the pivot bar installed to the bottom of the sash, so you may need to remove the sash to expose it.

In regard to replacing the coils, since they are so damaged, it would probably be best to obtain the exact weight of the sash. That way we can determine the spring strength needed once we've identified the series.
