Tension rod length

A home owner from Michigan says:
I have a 3/8 diameter tension rod. Series 900 is what I'm looking at to replace. My rod has a blue tip and is 28-1/2, I see you have 28 or 29 as size options. Which should I get?

Thanks
Jeremy

Hello! A lot of older balances were made on the 1/2", but most manufacturers phased that out a long time ago. We find it's safe to round up to the next inch. In your case, 29" should be fine. I would also double check the diameter. You want to measure the diameter of the outer tube, not the spring itself.
