What is the name of the thin plastic liners that surround each pane, both interior and exterior, of the older multiple pane aluminum windows?

We can't be sure but it sounds like you may be referring to the glazing bead that holds the glass inside the sash frame. If so, we would need to see an end profile photo of your glazing uninstalled to compare to our inventory. See the video below to assist you. Thank you!
